2015 Malaysia Cup
Malaysia Cup is a tournament held annually by Football Association of Malaysia.
The 2015 edition is the 89th season of Malaysia Cup and began on August with a preliminary round. A total of 16 teams took part in this prestigious competition. The teams are divided into 4 groups of 4. The group leaders and runners-up teams in the groups after 6 matches qualify to the quarterfinals. Nike has a new match ball, the Ordem Malaysia Cup.
Pahang are the defending champions, having beaten Johor Darul Takzim on a penalty shootout 5-3 in last season's final.
== Format ==
In this competition, the top 10 teams from 2015 Malaysia Super League is joined by the top 4 teams from 2015 Malaysia Premier League. The remaining 2 teams from 2015 Malaysia Super League and the team who finished 5th and 6th place in the 2015 Malaysia Premier League will battle it out in the playoffs for the remaining 2 spots. The teams will be drawn into four groups of four teams.
